I think you should leave (Netflix series): I'm not gonna give up just yet
The official title is "I think you Should Leave with Tim Robinson"... whoever that is.

I wouldn't have even bothered to watch it but then noticed that an episode is a mere 17 minutes long and this is fortunate because that was about how long I could stand to watch this. I am sure it is tough to come up with funny sketch comedy, Saturday Night Live has been proving that this is in fact a very difficult bridge to cross since the early 90's; I'm sure it is tough. This show has (so far) about half funny stuff and half shouting actors who are not funny.

Tim Robinson apparently has a lot of friends in the industry because there are a LOT of cameos in the first season, the first episode even. However, that doesn't stop it from being simply dumb in many instances. I mean, it has its moments from time to time like when they have a baby pageant and everyone in the crowd doesn't like one of the babies for apparently no reason (I laughed at this) but only because it was absurd that anyone could possibly dislike a cute baby. It also pokes fun at the selfie culture (which isn't terrible inventive but i suppose almost every idea has already been used.)

The good thing about this series is that each episode is really short at an average 17 minutes; the bad news is that the bad skits start bad and stay bad and basically you are just waiting for the next one to start. They also really seem to enjoy putting "poo jokes" in there because poo is funny i guess.

I have to admit that in 4, 17-minute episodes I laughed more than I do for a vast majority of the Netflix stand-up specials that exist right now so I am not ready to write this series off just yet... I am going to stick with it. There is about a 50/50 split in the scenes about what is really funny and what is just garbage. I don't know who Tim Robinson is (doesn't he play for the San Antonio basketball team?) but I am going to stick with it for now because at the end of the day each episode is just over a quarter of an hour. Maybe he is on to something?
