I've always loved Nate DIaz from the very first time I started to know about him. I'll admit, I didn't even know that he was fighting today. I woke up late and rushed out the door to find that the fight was just starting at the bar that I watch these things at. This was an absolutely fantastic match. I started to like Nate Diaz because he called out Connor McGregor. Even thought most people really liked Conor, i did not. I've always felt like UFC didn't really give this guy the attention he deserved. I have no idea why that is but i would imagine that it has / had a lot to do with the politics of getting along with Dana White and other executives at the helm of UFC. Pettis, who is no slouch, and I have no beef with, was completely outclassed by Diaz on every front. In the post-fight interview Diaz gave an electric statement, calling out his next (hopeful) opponent, and I am extremely excited to see him fight again. Hopefully soon. Dude hasn't fought is 3 years and just looked unstoppable tonight.
