I have this mentality that I should be attracted to you before going out on a date with you, because I feel going on a date is a process of getting to know someone more to know if you both are compatible.

 I was just employed at a financial firm at the marketing department and so I was introduced to all the staff. I was so excited because I always had this dream of working there, the whole dress code and dressing cooperate was just one thing I like about working with the bank.
 I was placed on a monthly target and my salary was based on commission and I was only entitle to a very little amount as my allowance, it was so difficult meeting up with my target.
Then Mr jay(not his real name) was already attracted to me and was shooting his shot ant every given opportunity,did I mention he was so proud and pompous and so I was not seeing my self being close to him anytime soon.

 Mr jay offered to assist me on how to meet up with my target and I was happy,he was the ladies man in the building as at that time and so he was feeling himself.
Who am I to refuse such help such kind gesture from my supposed proud and pompous jay,but he gave me a condition and that was to go out on a date with him first before he would help me out.

I  didn't accept his request because I was not attracted to him and I don't even want to build anything with him and besides who I must go on a date before I meet up with my monthly terget,  He refused helping out because I rejected his offer.

And he wanted us to meet somewhere outside the office and not on working hours.

so  after must pressure from my  workmate I accept and the date and time was fixed for our meeting.

On that beautiful Saturday Evening I got dressed casually and headed to the venue of our meeting, I arrived earlier than him and so I had time to go through the menu and looked at their prices so I had an idea of what the bill would be like.

He arrived and was apologizing for coming late,  we got talking and he asked if I was going to take something (is that even a question) like a soft drink or something else???so I ordered for chicken and chips and a soft drink he didn't order one for himself and so I offered to share mine with him, guess what??? He accepted and eat the remaining of my chicken and chips. 
We were done talking and although out our discussion he was just talking about himself and his achievement, no single tips on  I could meet up with my supposed monthly terget which was my main reasoning for going out,  to say I was bord was an under statement I was also iritated with the way he was praising himself I was practically quite through out our stay there.
The waiter brought the bill to the table and he excused himself from the table to use the restroom room which was still inside the eatery and so there was no way he would have run out with out me seeing or noticing. After a while he came out and pleaded I paid for the food and drink because he doesn't have any money with him 😲.
I was so happy I came out with extra cash if not I would have ended up washing the dishes at the eatery 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wasn't embarrassed by his actions but he felt really embarrassed to the extent that he avoided me at the office because he felt I have shared my experience with others.
I latter found out that he picked the location because it's close to his house and he was also struggling to meet up with his target as well..... 😱 😱
As for my target,I couldn't met up and so I resigned even before they asked me to.
I was glad i work there because I gained a lot of experience and my course became more practical to me.
The lesson is be prepared at all times go out with extra cash it helps.
