## A bit last minute, but,
this is my submission for the [Splinterlands Music and Lore Contest!](https://steemit.com/splinterlands/@steemmonsters/splinterlands-fantasy-story-and-music-contest-week-13-15-booster-pack-prize) Once again, I decided to challenge myself to write a tune in 30 minutes or less, and I think this came out pretty good. I actually want to work on it a bit more after I submit this, as I dig the general idea, but didn't want to cheat on the 30 minute part, lol. Let's go through it.

## Tracks 2,3 and 4 are grouped
together, with Track 2 just playing a low and high B (we're in Bminor), with a 1/16th arpeggiator on the track. This drones on underneath the entire song, with all the harmony built on top of a constant B. Tracks 3 and 4 both play the same progression (along with Track 8 later on), which provides the bass notes for the chords that are built on top. Tracks 5 and 6 are used for little background effects to accent Track 2's frequency changes.

## Track 7 provides the rest
of the defining notes of our chords, though it wound up being a little too quiet in the mix, so that'll definitely need to be boosted a bit to make it cut through the rumble of the low synths. Our drums are in Tracks 11, 12, and 13, which overall I dig. The snares are a bit too low, and the hihats a bit too loud, but overall its a cool beat. I think maybe the full beat should come in earlier, so it doesn't fade out so quickly after building up. We have two transition sounds in Track 9 and 13, and finally, some little background synth plucks in Tracks 14 and 15.
## I hope you dig this songwriting challenge, I think for 30 minutes of work it turned out to be pretty decent!
