My Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 4GB

So, a couple of hours ago I was all happy playing Doom Eternal which I recently purchased until I started to notice some horrendous frame drops. Took a quick look at AMD's Adrenaline overlay and saw it. GPU clock was maxing out at 400mhz, temps were at 92c and the fans... Well, they were at 0RPM.

I immediately closed the game because that's just plain dangerous and decided to take a look at the software side to see if anything could be done.

Did a fan check on Sapphire's TRIXX software - failure on both fans.

Took it out of the system whilst burning my hand because I'm an idiot and showed it to dad, he looked scared, we both know these things cost more than what our family makes in a month. 

We decided to open it up to see if the fan header wasn't disconnected, it wasn't. So we said "Fuck it, what can we do?" and set it aside. 

Fast forward to 23:30. I decide to give it another shot, maybe a stroke of luck headed my way, who knows? Nope. Shit just got worse. Now it boots, and immediately shuts my whole computer off, with a weird noise to boot.

I'm scared shitless. My warranty is over, I bought this in 2019 before the prices were through the roof and you could actually afford one without selling your car.
I'm sending this in to a repair shop that I trust on Monday, but I'm really doubting if much can be done about it.

As things stand, it seems I'll have to sell my laptop which sees a lot of use from my little brother so that I can purchase an inferior GPU just to at least use my computer, seeing as how my CPU does not have integrated graphics... Or I'll just have to save up even more. 

Save up more... Right now that I just got a new mobo, new CPU and new ram because my old kit went to shit. Right now that GPUs are more expensive than a car.

I'm scared, and probably screwed. Stay with me RX 580, you've been a warrior so far.
