Hello Steemit!

I'm pretty excited with my progress with Inktober. It's the first time I've taken on this art challenge, and it's really pushing me. I've finally got out some art onto paper that I've only been thinking about so far. And it's making me so happy!

For those who don't know about it, Inktober is a drawing challenge started by artist [Jake Parker](https://www.google.co.in/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwix0pj9nuHWAhVFPI8KHWGCBkYQFggnMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fmrjakeparker.com%2Finktober&usg=AOvVaw0aD5EHU_ym327PMNmmGFWi). Every October, artists from around the world make one ink drawing a day and post it up with the hashtag #inktober. There is an [official prompt list](http://media.virbcdn.com/files/0c/f6d18093ca90c8c5-2017promptlistsm02.png) though I'm not following that.

Here is what I made today, a tree outside my house. Directly with brushpen onto paper, no pencil.
