I have explored market DCA a couple of times and you can refer my post on them here where I have successfully executed market DCA and have done its analysis as well. In this blog post we are going to explore how simple it is to execute a Pools DCA order and just relax seeing your orders executed. The first step is to make a selection on the token you want to spend and in my example I am spending 50 SWAP.HIVE to buying #COLONY tokens from the liquidity pool COLONY/SWAP.HIVE. One important point to note here is that its imperative that those token which you want to spend and swap already have a liquidity pool on the hive-engine.

Once the amount of token is entered the next step is to select the token you want to swap along with selecting the time interval where you have an option for - minutes, hour, day, week and month. I went with the selection of a day - meaning I want to leverage Pools DCA to buying #COLONY tokens for 5 #HIVE daily and this continues till 10 orders has been executed. You can see the Orders value set to 10 in my example.

Then comes the **Pools DCA Summary** indicating the trade that you are about to execute. This is all self explanatory to understand no rocket science here and a point to note here is the platform fee that is involved here which is 0.25% of the SWAP.HIVE being spent on the order. Once you are happy with the order summary one just need to confirm the transaction and here is the following page that pops up before you execute the trade.

And once the trade is confirmed successfully you can see the "**DCA Active**" indicating what your are swapping for and the total investment. Plus there is an in progress bar indicating that the Pools DCA is active and in progress. Once you have reached to this point its time to sit, relax and see your orders executed over a period of time.

Before I end this post lets see how many #COLONY tokens I would have got if I had swapped it all at once from the COLONY/SWAP.HIVE liquidity pool.

As indicated from the above image taken from Beeswap portal - you can clearly see swapping 50 #HIVE would get me around 41.7K+ #COLONY tokens and now lets wait from my Pools DCA to complete and then I would be doing a quick analysis to find out which method was good to be adopted. But anyways what really matters is the market price of the tokens when you are trading them. The main advantage here is the DCA [Dollar Cost Average].
