# More on the Light Painting exercise with living room plants.
Sticking for with the Fiddle Leaf as a photography subject. What am I going to photograph? Flip the leaf!

During a Lockdown situation, I kept running around my home to find things to Light Paint. Then you find a lot of plants and I started photographing them. But for some reason, I have not looked beyond the normal spectrum at them. For many years I have had a UV Flashlight. Not very expensive or very special, but I have one.

Aber aus irgendeinem Grund habe ich sie nicht über das normale Spektrum hinaus betrachtet. Ja Ich habe seit vielen Jahren eine UV-Taschenlampe. Nicht sehr teuer oder sehr speziell, aber ich habe einen.

You hopefully saw my recent post on the plant light painting. Not too long ago when @stepko was visiting, we both ran around together and pointed the UV light at my plants. At first, this was not very exciting but then boom the fiddle leaf looked almost red. I placed the Flashlight underneath and the nice cell structure became visible. Super cool!
> Letzte Woche, als Ich dann Besuch (@stepko) hatte, sind wir beide zusammen herumgelaufen und haben das UV-Licht (die UV Taschenlampe lag da einfach rum) auf meine Pflanzen gerichtet. Das war zunächst nicht sehr aufregend, aber dann sahen wir das Blatt von meiner GeigenFeige und es sah fast rot aus. Dann hielt Ich die Taschenlampe darunter und dann kam auch noch die schöne Zellstruktur schön hervor. Sehr cool!

The backside of the leaf seems to have the most fluorescent particles in the cell structure. When I shine the light from underneath to the top side it makes the cell walls reflect the UV light much more. The Topside is relatively boring here.
> Die Rückseite des Blattes schien die meisten fluoreszierenden Partikel in der Zellstruktur zu haben. Wenn ich das Licht von unten nach oben strahlte, reflektierten die Zellwände das UV-Licht noch viel stärker. Die Oberseite ist nicht wirklich aufregend und eher langweilig.

Mixing the normal and UV light here and applying it in the right mix was giving me the best results. At least the shots that looked most amazing to me.
