This morning I woke up faster without thinking of anything after wearing my clothes directly to a coffee shop, when I arrived at a coffee shop by chance I saw a news broadcast about the spread of illegal logging in Aceh's protected forests located between Takengon and Central Aceh.
Illegal logging in protected forests has been going on for a long time since the start of Aceh peace during the conflict, to date recorded through #Walhi-Aceh has reached thousands of hectares of protected forest that has been evenly distributed with the land.

### a huge threat to the people of Aceh

law enforcement authorities have taken a position or decision to arrest all illegal logging perpetrators who will cause massive natural disasters later, but logging efforts continue to be carried out in hiding by using machines capable of producing tons of wood every day.

**some threats to deforestation of protected forests or mountains**

* easy occurrence of landslides
* Floods will befall residents' settlements every rainy season
* damage to protected forest ecosystems resulting in a lack of H2O needed by humans

>>this is a glimpse of the threat caused by illegal logging, let us prevent it together so that our forests are maintained without illegal logging and free from natural disasters
