When we install an app, it require necessary permissions before use. But as technology is evolving, scam and threats also enhancing. Some scammers make apps to get your mobile access. They take advantage of your data. We grant permission and access our data without a second thought. An app require your location access, we "Allow". Or it acquires administration right, we click "Yes". This kind of habit make our digital life at risk. This concept is called "Principle of Least Privilege " in cyber security. This concept is applied to or devices to reduce attack surface.

Granting a privilege means you are allowing to use that data with your permission. The principle of least privilege says allow minimum access for required time which is necessary. For example a photo editing app does not need to allow your microphone to use. A calculator does not need to access your contacts. When you consciously see these kind of permission and limit them, you are protecting to cyber threat yourself. Hacker can harm you using these permission that you allow without second thought.

I will request you to check every apps permissions today to safe your digital life. Go to each app's permissions, and limit them. Just allow necessary permission while using app, not allow "always". And make sure, while using new apps, allow only necessary permission. This habit will make you secure to cyber threats. It will take your five minutes and safe your life forever. Thank for reading.
