http://i.imgur.com/9pnKKo1.jpg <center>I have heard a few times about **"changing your attitude with gratitude"** or **"using gratitude to improve your attitude"** and although sometimes it can be hard to do in the moment, I think it really is a great thing to be mindful of.</center> <center>A few weeks ago I was posting about ways to help beat Monday Morning Blues and @choogirl left his comment on my post about how she runs through the things at the end of her day that she feels grateful for.</center> <center>http://i.imgur.com/eXPrDkx.png</center> <center>With us returning from a ski trip that **didn't go to plan** *(my stepdaughter got a gastro virus, then gave me a gastro virus, and my husband is now sick too - so lots of puking and only half our time skiing)* it was a pretty stressful and disappointing time for us.</center> <center>However, I guess **I can choose to look at my ski trip with gratitude**, or in a *"glass half full"* way, rather than focusing on the negative and looking at it from a *"glass half empty"* standpoint.</center> <center>**I am still super grateful that we had a couple of days skiing**, I got to capture some amazing memories on GoPro with my husband. **I am grateful that I have a husband that I share passions with**, like skiing, or motorbike riding *(well... him on his motorbike, me on my scooter, haha)*. I am grateful to be home with my dog, who makes me so happy. **I am grateful that I have a job where I can take a couple days of sick when I need to so I have time to recover**. I am grateful that my home is a safe, happy, warm environment.</center> http://i.imgur.com/YR7G1EE.jpg <center>**It can be so easy to let things get you down.** Today though I feel pretty happy, *for a Monday, coming off the end of a trip gone wrong and recovering from gastro.* I would definitely like to try the same thing as @choogirl and start to try and list the things that I feel grateful for every day, and see if that makes a difference to keeping a positive mindset consistently.</center> # <center>Do you guys try to focus on what you are grateful for?
