As I wrote in [my introduction post](https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@hannahlicious/who-is-hannahlicious-let-me-introduce-myself), **I am super new to cryptocurrency**. I bought some **Pivx** a month ago because my husband @rlamasb was so excited about crytpo and persuaded me to get some as well. I originally purchased $2000 AUD worth of cryptocurrency, and then managed to double my money - at which stage **I withdrew my original $2000 AUD back into my bank account**  *(then paid off my credit card as you can see in this screenshot)*.

Starting out with crypto, I let my husband make the decisions on what I should be doing with my coins. He is much more experienced than me and that is what felt safe. He originally put my money into **Pivx**, and then moved to **Ethereum**, which is where I made my profit. *However,* now that I have joined Steemit, withdrew my original $2k back to my bank, and my crypto wallet only holds my *small* profit I made on my *small* investment, **I felt I should start making my own decisions.**

Yesterday, I read a post by @kingscrown about how [Litecoin was getting added to 2 new exchanges](https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@kingscrown/litecoin-to-get-added-to-two-exchanges). I read all the comments of people getting excited about **Litecoin**, people speculating that although it could be a gamble it might be a good time to buy some. I thought: **Fuck it, I’m trying to learn about crypto. Let me get some LTC.**

I have also heard a few people on here talking about **Basic Attention Token** and my husband @rlamasb was saying how much he liked it. I watched a couple of Youtube videos about it and thought: *I may as well get some of that too*. That way I can have 3 coins in my wallet and really experience the fluctuations first hand to learn some more about them. Now my wallet looks a little bit more *like this*:

In terms of **Litecoin**, I’m happy so far that I bought some. **They seem to have increased in value by 25%**. From the small amount I bought, I have made a profit of almost $150 AUD on those within a day.

As usual, my **ETH** is staying strong... in the month that I have been into crypto, it has been treating me well so far! In terms of **BAT,** I did loose a little. The overall value of **BAT actually increased by 2% since this time yesterday afternoon**, but because I bought at a time last night when the price was high, although the value went up - I lost a little.

Obviously, **this post is only speaking on the change in my wallet within the last 24 hours of my new coins**, and everything could change again tomorrow. I am currently using **Cryptocompare** to look at the fluctuations between the coins in my wallet. 

I am interested in potentially purchasing **Bitcoin** although my husband told me there isn't too much point in having Bitcoin if you have Litecoin, what do you guys think?

I know that the holdings in my wallet are so small, and I am so uninformed, but I am just at the beginning of my crypto journey and I am here to learn &#128519;
