Yes, Lobbie needs to be in a shallow water. About 2cm height of water is enough. He likes his stones and rocks around him. 

Lobbie likes to dine on earth worms. Otherwise his sinking pellets will do. 

It is a feisty little chap, tried to pinch my finger a few times. Hahaha... I play with it by stroking him and he challenged me with his pinchers. 

All my students will look for him and stare at him for a long time when they come for lesson.
