The Taj Mahal (meaning Crown of the Palace) is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (reigned from 1628 to 1658), to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The tomb is the centrepiece of a 17-hectare (42-acre) complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall. I went to Taz just a few days ago and the experience was just fascinating. Its a huge structure made of pure marble, built in a vast Mughal garden at the shore of Yamuna river. I can't get my mind around how the built it at that time.the designes on its walls are are amazingly carved out of stone and many precious stones are embedded in it. It is such a beautiful place that it's still going through my mind. To explore it's true beauty You have to come and visit it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mg6bwWivMB4
