Moving to Mexico and a Jeff Berwick DM
Everyone has seen @jeffberwick by now after this week's media blitzkrieg of his Anarcho-Dog Walks in beautiful Acapulco.
I have to thank Jeff for getting me into Steemit. There you go buddy!
His @dollarvigilante videos are usually entertaining and made me immediately interested. I don't have money to buy mining rigs right now so I was stoked when I heard about this platform, probably the same reason you are here as well.
In his latest set of content uploads, @tdv has been talking about living life in Mexico.
He's from Canada originally, and I am as well, so again, interested. Jeff brings up a lot of great points to consider, great weather, more freedom and more autonomy in our day to day lives. Just what I'm looking for.

Having lived in the us at times, I was totally unprepared for a view of Mexico as a welcoming happy place.
In the us you only ever hear about how bad it is in Mexico, Trump style amigo!
Berwick paints a completely opposite and pleasant picture. We see him slightly uncomfortable walking around his neighbourhood, I mean he does seem a bit nervous of the guys around him in the video.
However, he maintains that Mexico is an awesome place to live. Maybe it's just the detox process I'm reading into.
I honestly don't know, I want to visit and experience the place for myself.

After watching one of Jeff's older videos on youtube called Acapulco, Not Even Dangerous!, it was kind of weird that he only asked Mexicans if it was safe in Acapulco. It was also a little strange to me that when the people were talking about the areas surrounding the 'tourist spots', they all said you would get into trouble if you inadvertently strayed there.

Is it reasonable to expect that we as Canadians and Americans can live in a country such as Mexico, without incurring the wrath of the locals?

This chart is indicative of the rise in USD value _after_ the printing begins in 2008.
You can see that the Peso has been devalued by 100% since the coverup of the world's largest banking fraud back in 2008.

I remember in the 90's when USD was worth 1.50 CAD+. Arrogant people from the US came to my town and wanted to treat us like idiots. We were not thrilled about it. Back then I took to calling myself the Snow Mexican.
I'm not afraid of the Mexicans, I'm afraid of the reputation that Canadians and American's have created in Mexico.
With so many Westerner's operating system set to 'doh' and their rampant automatic behaviour consisting of continually trying to forget and avoid the elephant in the room (this cannot last), is continual proof of willful cognitive dissonance.

Not much of our impact is realised by senses obliterated. We walk away and don't look back.
Personally I would not act like this in anyone's home.

As we shuffle out of the bar broke and bleary eyed, the locals must think we are a lost people. In many cases we are.

Be the light,
peace
