Frankly, I was really hoping DataBroker Dao’s token would be called DAO—it’s got that ring to it. Alas, not all wants come true; the native token of the marketplace is DTX. But luckily the name has no impact on the valuable role this token plays on the DataBroker Dao marketplace, which offers a medium of exchange between IoT sensor owners and data purchasers ([more details here](https://steemit.com/ico/@hatu/databroker-dao-not-just-a-cool-name)).

And that transaction volume will drive demand for these tokens. With an ICO hard cap coming under $20 million, these tokens could have a long, long way to their true potential.

The DTX token is an ERC token and there are 225 million tokens in total, 48% of which will be available during the token sale. The company is not offering any ridiculous bonuses for the main sale and that should be a satisfactory measure for token holders since there won’t be much dilution. 

Additionally, the entry during both the pre-sale and the main sale isn’t high. The pre-sale minimum is 10 ETH, and the main sale actually has no minimum at all. This is a great means to drive heavy distribution of the token. A high spread of token holders ensures that no single or few hands the power to control token prices, and this will ensure a more secure outlook for the token in both the short- and long-term. 

The DTX token main sale begins March 26th.
