## The greenest lake you've ever seen! New Zealand is a country full of magnificent natural beauty! Everywhere you turn, every place your eyes touch, there is an incredible photo beckoning to be taken. It's a photographer's dreamland. Unfortunately, I am not a professional but I do have a pretty great Canon and luckily, nature does most of the work for me! It's necessary to have multiple extra batteries on hand at all times traveling in NZ, otherwise it's an actual tragedy when the moments pass by, (*with no chance to post on Steemit.*) We had a saying while we were there "save it to memory" but I happen to quite like the digital versions! I have 100's (*if not 1000's*) of photos from my journey there. I saved this set, as it was one of my favorite experiences but I am thrilled to share with you here now! ## See behind me, there is a natural green lake! It's located just outside of Rotorua, the town we ended up spending my birthday in last year! I mention that because, this was a treat to myself... usually I prefer beaches and bikinis but close enough to this water can be pretty toasty as well ;) _______________  ___________________ The problem was, there was a barrier in the way and I just wanted to get a closer look... *I figured wth, it was my birthday if anyone wanted to make a fuss about it!* _______________  ____________________ ### 🎵 I made it through the wilderness... somehow I made it through 🎵 __________________  _____________________ Can you believe the color of this water? _________________  ___________________ I snapped so many shots of this river, every angle and direction imaginable! Oops... almost fell in more than once! A kissing couple showed up and started pointing and staring at me huddled down at the edge of the water, trying to capture the unbelievable color! ______________  ____________________________ After hours lost in the beauty of this remarkable gift from Mother Earth, I figured I had taken enough pictures and said farewell to the lucky pool of water. If you ever get a chance to visit, I would strongly recommend going! (Take every photo-taking device you have with you!) ___________________  __________________ Nature is so magnificent! It offers us an opportunity to open up to the Earth and reconnect to all that is around us. I love ThursdayGreen because green is life, it's our heart chakra, it's such a powerful, loving color filled with positive healing power!
