Hi @ideafarm. I see you've been busy posting on my blog here so instead of going to each reply, I'm just going to *shoot from the hip* here (*see, I actually did read all of your words...*)

For starters, within the 9 months I have been on Steemit, I have never faced such harsh attention so this has been a good learning lesson for me and genuinely I thank you because I was growing unprepared, thinking that everyone that visited my blog was here out of the kind community that Steemit has always shown itself to be, to me. Since I am known to engage in my replies, I find myself feeling compelled to seek to understand why you would leave such a comment for me to find.

I guess when I give away SBD all of the time for various life changing challenges and initiatives, and devote my free time and energy and life lessons to the platform, no one wants to call me anything cruel... I admit I was being snarky in this post as a joke but I knew those who know me would smile knowingly.

But I know you don't know me, how even could you since **1) you just joined and 2) you admitted to not reading my post thoroughly before responding with a very volatile attack.**

There are **so many learning curbs here** I don't blame you for not knowing everything through and through, jeeze, I doubt anyone really does. But I have spent a great deal of my time getting to know this community and how it works behind the scenes and on the front, so if you're going to engage, I would really recommend the same, *for the good of the community.*

I'm not wanting to get involved in all the downvoting/censoring conversation but I will say that I would downvote anyone that aggressively called someone something of the like that you called me because it's not the kind of community I support or that I have ever known Steemit to be. I would hate for it to become this way with new users such as yourself bringing in this behavior. **For the record there have been many public, recorded conversations about this on the blockchain, encouraging us to use our downvote to protect the community from spam.** If you would like to say something, perhaps a well thought out retort in the form of debate might work better instead of harsh insults and foul language? Right? I mean come on, what would you do if someone didn't even understand what you were saying and started defaming you? It's just not a kind practice to engage in, online or offline or anywhere in this universe.

In the end, **you should know this** I have been what is referred to as a **super user** that means that I contribute more than average to this platform and I can tell you now that there are **major issues** arising in the platform mostly with the growth of new users coming in and not putting in time to understand the system.

I am not here for the money primarily, hence why my voting power is higher than a minnow and I let my power accumulate, believing in the system.

You referred to the word whore meaning someone here to make money, well, I definitely joked about that in this post because the truth is, people are joining to try to make a buck and it's ruining our system causing us to have to come up with new ways to interact here... I certainly don't know how to stop people from posting a picture on here and expecting to be rewarded. I don't know how to keep the *shit posts* from clogging up the system so that quality content can be seen again. I don't have the answer for that at this time but I am experimenting and researching that and trying to do my part to make this what it was when I first joined.

Now, with all due respect, I have given enough of my energy to this. As I said, my biggest worry before was making sure I had judged my contest on time or helped people sub out ingredients for my recipe that matched their allergy concerns. Not in a turf war with people calling me names.

Ahh.

Anyways, I don't think I am your target author to follow or autovote for that matter because we see things differently. I do though, in the spirit of why I am here, strongly urge you not to be so cruel on this platform that has given me and many others a place to feel safe and supported for their creativity. It's really important in this day and age that people feel they can express themselves creatively when society tries to smother that urge and need.

Be kind. This community and space CAN offer something incredible that we haven't ever had before. Let's use it for **good (or if you choose differently, maybe just don't drag me into it), agreed?**

Steem on!
