I recently started to be active in steemit again and all I heard is the issue about downvoters, that are downvoting people who have been voted by steembasicincomes.  They find it unfair but I can't understand which part is unfair. I've been searching for post that explain the meaning of unfairness but I couldn't find it.  

So, I came down to my own conclusions. Maybe they feel the unfairness because of people buying votes. When we buy vote,  we can still get upvote even if we send a blank post. (I am also sbi user) 

Well,  I never found a single sbi user that send a blank post.  I never seen any post that taking advantage of sbi upvotes. Maybe there is,  and if there is...  I think that is the one should be downvote.

An attitude of posting a blank post but getting high votes will discourage the newbies. They are still catching up. How do we expect them to directly understand the platform. If there is time to upvote, read and post,  there should also be time to do some explanation in the comment box provided or just post the explanation.

There are actually no rules for posting in steemit but there is a guidelines made by @thecryptofiend around 3 years ago. 
This guidelines are made for some reason, and I thought that it is beneficial for all of us.  Please take some times to read and re-think again before proceeding any action.

A little downvoting won't affect me much but it will affect the newbies a lot and also those who have low SP. 

# What is the aim for this downvoting purpose?
* To get rid of all the newbies or to encourage  posting without vote buying? 

It would be fair if the vote and steem can't be bought but only earn, but that is how this cryptocurrency platform are. It challenge us to be out of our league. 
 
I don't even know what cryptocurrency is when I first started but times let me learn and I did learn a lot in this 2 years.

I believe that everyone are free to think,  write and do anything in this platform.  It's our thoughts and it is ours alone. It depends on us if we want to share it out. 

It also depends on the reader to judge a writing by leaving a comment and not only a blank downvote. 

Blank downvote - You earn nothing because people doesn't know what they should do.  What can we do for you downvoters? 

A comment and replies - Say it out loud. So that other can understand. Maybe there will be a possible solutions.

Well,  I think this post is too long already. It is merely a share of thought.  I don't meant to hurt anyone.  I just don't like the negativity being spread around. 

I'm just asking for one thing,  left the newbies  out of this downvoting scheme. Losing them mean losing the future of this platform.
