<div class="text-justify"> <center>  </center> Happy weekend, guys! 👋🏽 I hope you're all doing great and enjoying your free time. 💜 Today, I want to share a visit I had been looking forward to and was finally able to make yesterday. None other than the opening of 129 featuring works by three Venezuelan artists who are icons of universal art (Armando Reverón, Jesús Soto, and Alejandro Otero). And at the end, I even made a rather unexpected stop. 👀 |||| -|-|- ||| -|- **Upon arrival, there were already quite a few people gathered around the Museum of Culture (Valencia, Carabobo).** <center>  </center> > There were also a few animals roaming around, including this adorable little cat. 🐈 <center>  </center> So, we waited about twenty minutes for them to let us in "as a group" into the museum. |||| -|-|- As you can see, the entrance is quite spacious, and I loved that besides having a small café ☕, it also features a stunning white [kinetic art](https://www.culturagenial.com/es/arte-cinetico/) piece to welcome us 🤩 (this type of art "moves" thanks to our movements—almost like magic! ✨). <center>  </center> Once we were welcomed, they explained how the exhibition tour would work on this opening day: It was divided into three sections or "rooms"—the red room, the yellow room, and the green room (I'm sure more than one person went 🤔 at this setup, but once I entered the last room, I totally understood why they organized it this way). |||| -|-|- After giving us a brief rundown of what each room contained (except for the last one), we climbed a long set of "stairless" stairs. We explored many works and some fascinating "curiosities" about Soto and Otero. In some cases, we were even allowed to "touch"—though only the books about these two masters and, of course, those on Reverón. ||| -|- |||| -|-|- I learned that although all three artists started with painting (since they studied in Europe at certain points in their careers and drew inspiration from European art), each of them developed their own unique style: |||| -|-|- Soto wanted to captivate and involve us in his creations. Something super curious, yet so much fun at the same time. 🤠 <center>  </center> To enter, we had to put protective covers over our shoes to avoid dirtying the room with our soles. Once inside, they welcomed us and explained that the room was designed as "a tribute to our childhood" (so, here’s our childhood summed up in a room :D). We could choose from different colors to draw on "almost all the figures, walls and floor"—except for the car, the traffic light, the gas dispenser, and the TV, since those were sticker zones (which they also gave us 🥰). |||| -|-|- This activity was completely unexpected for me 🙈, but at the same time, I found it to be a great opportunity for artistic interaction (especially if you're visiting with kids). Pudimos conocer muchas de las obras y algunas "curiosidades" de Soto y Otero, aunque algunas veces pudimos hasta "tocar", pero solo los libros de estos dos maestros y, por supuesto, también los de Reverón. ||| -|- |||| -|-|- Aquí pude aprender que, aunque los tres tuvieron sus inicios en la pintura (porque en determinados momentos de su carrera estudiaron en Europa y se inspiraron del arte europeo), todos crearon su estilo: |||| -|-|- Soto sentía la necesidad de cautivarnos e involucrarnos en sus creaciones. Algo supercurioso, pero divertido al mismo tiempo. 🤠 <center>  </center> Para entrar, nos tuvimos que colocar protección en los zapatos y así evitar ensuciar la sala con nuestras suelas. Una vez dentro, nos dieron la bienvenida en donde nos explicaron que la sala fue diseñada como "una alegoría a nuestra infancia" (así que he aquí nuestra infancia resumida :D). También pudimos elegir entre varios colores para rayar "casi todas las figuras", menos el carro, el semáforo, el dispensador de gasolina y el televisor porque son zona de stickers (que también nos entregaron 🥰). |||| -|-|- Esta actividad para mí fue muy inesperada 🙈, pero al mismo tiempo considero que es una gran oportunidad de interacción artística (sobre todo si vienes con niños).
