For many investors, Google Finance has served as an excellent portfolio tracker, news source, and investigative tool. However, over the past several months, Google has redesigned the classic https://www.google.com/finance page in order to integrate it into the modern Google brand.

Naturally, Google Finance had become somewhat outdated over the years; however, it was the <i>content</i> of the site that mattered to investors, not <i>aesthetic</i>. Now, the formerly cohesive interface resembles any other Google tab, and the functionality is far from its former glory. 

Many investors have begun searching for alternatives, and I have some suggestions. If quick and easy charting is your priority, TradingView is an excellent option. However, if you are still searching for that full replacement, I can guarantee that Morningstar will have you covered (http://www.morningstar.com).

Not only does Morningstar contain news, charts, portfolio tracking, and more, but it even has that same dated feel that Google Finance once did... Of course, a little updating is always nice, but not if it means sacrificing core functionality!
