# Absurd Inflation Situation
Do you also recognize this next? You go to the supermarket, grab a little bit of groceries, walk to the checkout ... and you're shocked! If you recognize this, then you also understand what we are going to talk about today. Unfortunately, I recognize this above too well. And that has everything to do with the hair-raising INFLATION that I think the whole world is suffering from right now. Now you might think: ¨What is so interesting about inflation? Why would you want to write a blog about that?¨. But have you ever looked at the absurdity of the whole inflation situation? I thought it might help to find out for myself, so that just maybe from now on I can navigate through the inflation situation with a smile on my face.

# The Money Press
It took several things to cause the level of inflation that we have now. And one of those things has been prevalent over the past few decades. The money presses were always on! Money was printed as if no money existed yet and as if money had an infinite value. And even as inflation started to pick up after years of struggling to get to 2% inflation, even as it started to pick up… those money presses were still on. The OFF button was simply lost. It seemed as if the governments thought it was a party that inflation was rising. And they kept printing money. That made me think then whether it is necessary for me to explain that printing money during inflation is the same as scattering confetti during a hurricane. You may think it's a festive solution, but in the end it will certainly lead to even greater chaos. So the message for any government right now is, governments, keep your hands out of the confetti cannons and think before you turn on those money presses.

# Don't Panic!
But since it has already become clear in recent years that we as a population cannot control governments, and we do feel the consequences of inflation directly in our wallets, we will have to think about what we should and should not do. First, don't panic! Running around like a headless chicken won't help you avoid the price of chicken (both literally and figuratively). Also remember very well that stress causes wrinkles, and wrinkles are expensive to maintain in times of inflation. So relax, take a deep breath and remember that laughter is the best medicine for financial worries. Even if you don't feel like there's anything to laugh about, try to laugh anyway, because laughing is healthier than stressing. And in both cases more needs to be done if you want to change the situation, only the one who keeps smiling makes it easier for themselves.

# What Can We Do?
So let's take a closer look at what we CAN do to curb inflation. It is always useful to start with a little financial health. This means nothing more or less than that we have to be more conscious of our expenses. Take a critical look at your budget and identify potential savings. Maybe you can cook for yourself a little more often instead of eating out, or you can resist the temptation of impulsive online purchases. In the long run, this will benefit your wallet.

# Diversification
Another strategy to outsmart inflation is diversification. Instead of putting all your money in one basket (or one currency in this case), consider spreading your assets. Invest in various options. Think not only of crypto, but also of foreign currencies, shares and bonds. This reduces the risk of inflation affecting a specific market. In addition, you can benefit from possible increases in value in other sectors.
<br>

# Fixed-Value Assets
In addition, it is important to protect yourself against inflation by means of fixed-value assets. Think of investments in real estate, raw materials such as gold or silver, or even works of art. These assets often tend to hold their value or even rise during periods of inflation. So, if you've always wanted to build that art collection, NOW is your chance!

# The Power Of Community
Finally, let's not underestimate the power of community. During times of inflation, cooperation and solidarity can be invaluable. Look for ways to work together locally and support each other. Think of setting up cooperative shops, organizing exchanges or sharing knowledge and skills within your community. Together we can be stronger and defy inflation in a fun way.

# Resilience
In any case, it is important not to see inflation as an enemy, but rather as a challenge that we must try to survive with humor, (yes I know, that's easier said than done), and resilience. Let's not allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by the pressures of rising prices, but instead brighten our minds with humor and determination.

# Try To Stay Positive And Live Your ...
Remember: inflation can certainly give us a big stomach ache, but it can never take away our sense of humor. Inflation happens to you, but you choose your life! So try to put the most charming smile on your face, steel your mind with positivity and don't let inflation be a spoilsport in your own biggest adventure called:

# LIFE!
