<h3>Week 50</h3>

This one sounds like something between Andrew Bird and Radiohead, I think... I was contemplating the nature of artificial intelligence, robots waking up and destroying us all. It's a big topic in philosophy these days, a lot of people believe that we are hurtling straight towards some kind of AI-fueled apocalypse.

<h3>No Gear? No problem!</h3>

I didn't bring a lot of music gear with me to North Carolina - there's a lot to still ship down here. But I wanted to do an Open Mic specifically in spite of that, because there is NEVER a reason to not make music. If you want to create, there is a way. That's the pragmatic, positive way of looking at it.

And in this case - the gear shortage wasn't so bad. I have my guitar, I have my voice. I hope you'll enjoy this song.

For what it's worth - my favorite part of this starts around 0:50. I am SUPER HAPPY with how that came out.

This week's open mic has been a blast - I listened to dozens of entries earlier today, and honestly it's some of the best quality performances I have ever heard on Steemit. We are clearly raising the bar and attracting new awesome people every day.
