I mentioned in my previous [post](https://peakd.com/life/@hiddenblade/i-finally-got-out-of-the-house-lol) that I just bought a new laptop. The reason for it is for upgrade + so I can give my brother my old one for online classes. The classes will start next month and computers are selling out fast so I had to rush with researching what is perfect for my work and my budget. 

Those two days, I was stressing out cos of the rush decision-making. I really hate those lol. When I'm making a big decision, I want to have at least 2 weeks for me to decide because I don't want to regret anything. Especially I'm buying a laptop and I'm not *that* knowledgable about computer stuff so I will need a lot of research. With the help of @acidyo, I was able to decide in two days.

I bought the [Asus ROG Strix G](https://www.asus.com/ph/Laptops/ROG-Strix-G/) and I'm spending my time now to transfer the files from my old one and install programs. It's a pretty laptop and powerful too, I could tell lol.

Since I got stressed out, I decided to play a game which I used to play when I was a pre-teen. I wanted to feel nostalgia and I miss the simple days back then.

## So I downloaded Diner Dash :D ^_^ XD

I don't know if this was a popular game back then so I don't know if some of you know this game or even remember. But yeah, this is the type of games that I used to play (and actually enjoy). 

It's a strategy game and I like games that make me think since I'm not good at first-person shooter games. I have played Dota before too and I still remember myself actually making research about each characters and taking notes of their skills and abilities in my notebook lol. I enjoyed it for quite some time but these games with simple objectives but hard to attain goals are what attracted me the most.

I played this today and also downloaded [OBS Studio](https://obsproject.com/) to record my gameplay so I could write about it next time. :D XD

I just think it's funny when I spent some cash on a gaming laptop just to play a game from 15 years ago that probably doesn't even require having 500 mb ram or something. The modern version of that is some kid asking their parents to buy them a high spec gaming PC only to play Roblox on it.

Might probably be a good idea to start blogging continuously with that concept. ┐(￣ヘ￣）┌
