Unocoin went down earlier this week to patch **weaknesses in its architecture** and move servers "to a more secure location". 

This coupled with a **[Bengaluru techie's account being hacked and drained of over Rs.100,000](https://factordaily.com/india-bitcoin-hacked/)** earlier this month makes me want to **reconsider using Unocoin for transactions.**

Needless to say - **MAKE SURE TO SECURE YOUR BALACES** and only hold balances on online exchanges IF you plan to trade or cash out.
