STEEMIT: Disable Editing or limit them? - A superb "HOW TO" get EVEN MORE exposure by "bumping" your posts!
Some of you might be aware of this already.. Others are not. I'm here to shed some light on this, in case you aren't aware of it.

## Loophole...?
There's actually something I would call a "loophole" one can benefit from on steemit.. And I truly believe it's something the developers should be notified about, and think about, in case they haven't done that already. Perhaps it's exactly how they want it to be, and if that's the case, I'm glad I share this with everyone who's not already aware of it.

## Well, shall we begin?

You can search topics using filters. Like this:

Most of us are aware of it already.

You can also use these filters together with categories. Like this:

You've probably used it or at least you've been aware of it since before reading this..

## Here's the "kicker":
You can actually "bump" your topics by doing simple edits. Change 1 letter, change a punctuation to an exclamation point.. Whatever you do, that change will bump your post. I noticed this on https://steemd.com/. What I saw was this:
https://i.imgsafe.org/d1d5b8cbeb.png

I knew I made a new post a few hours earlier, but I was totally clueless when I saw that I'd authored a post, with the same name several hours later..

## So, what did I do?
First of all, I thought this was just a bug.. So I did some things to make sure I wasn't wrong in my assumptions.. And I was right. I found a way to bump my posts to the top of each category I listed my post in. So, basically, with the use of good tags (categories) I can bump my post to the top, anytime I want.

## I'll give you some examples of what I mean..

### See what I mean?
Sure, this does only work if you use the "active" filter but I bet there's a lot of people using the filters and using the "active" filter to find all the active topics, and that's why I make this post.. Most contributors also use SEVERAL tags to increase the exposure and that's okay.. But using this like a "bump feature" would definitely benefit some more than others.. Especially compared to those who's not aware of it. What do you think?

### Do you use the ACTIVE filter?
Do you think this should be allowed or do you think a limitation for edits would be a good solution to this?
