What is High Quality Content And How To Write It? - Not what you expect.
**I know that this has been covered a billion times already** - But I will do something different.

### High Quality Content

It doesn't take long before you realize that people are talking about high quality content here on steemit. High quality content, powerful content and content that entertains your readers.. That's what's going to bring you the cash! **- At least, that's what you'll hear everywhere.**

---

### Shall we begin?

- "Create long articles".
- "Provide Quality Content".
- "Be original."

**I've heard it several times before.** I even tell people to be themselves. That's what finally will make you successful.. **But is it that simple?**

### Let's shed some light on all of this *"High Quality Content"* things.

https://i.imgsafe.org/f1c539aafd.jpg

Original content goes a long way with Google and your website visitors. If you copy other people’s content it will result in a punishment from Google. **Why wouldn't the exact same thing happen on steemit?**

Google shows a preference for long form, ‘meaty’ content that covers all aspects of a topic. Mobile users are showing a preference for shorter, more succinct content they can read on the go. - **The same goes for steemit!**

- Some people prefers to read long articles. Anything between 500 and 2000 words. Others, will read any 50-200 word articles they can find. No matter the topic.

That's also one of the reasons for upvotes. If you find something you like, then you'll probably upvote it.. But we are different so everyone can't like the same content.

On steemit, there's also the **"money factor"**. People upvote content they believe will make them money.

- That basically means that even if a person doesn't like your content, they can still upvote it!

On the other hand, we know that [40%](http://www.webmarketinggroup.co.uk/blog/why-every-seo-strategy-needs-infographics/) of people will respond better to visual information than to plain text.

- **That could obviously be one of the reasons for a meme to go big.**

### Proper Page and Text Formatting?

https://i.imgsafe.org/f1c5371bff.jpg

High quality content is aesthetically attractive, easy to read, and suitable for scanning and skimming (which is how the majority of your website visitors will consume your content). Google’s algorithm has become sophisticated enough that it can detect page and content layout, and you may be penalized in the rankings for poor content formatting. Again, even if Google doesn’t penalize you for it, your human readers will.

Never forget that we are all different individuals here on steemit. Some people might laugh at you because of your grammar mistakes. Others will salute you for trying. - **If you give up before you've even tried, then you'll get nothing.**

> If you write a brand new article and post it here on steemit and it looks something like this when people reads it then you will have nothing but a minimal chance of getting upvotes and that's because no one likes to read something that looks like this it's annoying am I right obviously I am and this is terrible to even write I'm not native in english and perhaps I don't know exactly where to use a comma but I do use it because it's easier for myself to read and write the things I do

**The above text is terrible.** In reality most people won't even try to read something that looks like that. It's too time consuming and annoying. However, as I've already mentioned, people are different so you could still get upvotes for something like this.

- Your chances of going big though, are slim to none.

Quality content is easy to read and understand. You can use a tool like the [Readability-Score](https://readability-score.com/text/), which is based on the Flesch-Kincaid readability tests, this will help you to ensure that your content matches the reading level, expectations and preferences of your audience. This is particularly important when creating content for those who have a primary language other than English.

### Don't forget..

https://i.imgsafe.org/f1c534b994.jpg

High quality content doesn't just mean a long well-written article. Photos, Recipes and videos are great to keep your audience engaged across a variety of formats. **No matter what niche you're in.**

---

### And why this post are nothing near any other in the same topic..

https://i.imgsafe.org/f1e55a3719.jpg

**Forget everything** you've read in this post and start to publish things you care about. Post what you love, your passion and what you believe in. Share the same things you would share on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

**DO NOT** see steemit as something different because you have the potential to earn money. - **Take it from someone who did..**

- Don't waste your time trying to analyze things.
- Don't waste time trying to find a "voting-pattern" from people.
- Don't waste time trying to find "the best time" to publish your post.

**I've done all of that!** - And I haven't been successful for doing it. Some of my posts have generated a superb amount of cash (in my opinion) .. The ones I had success with was the posts I published because I wanted too. The posts I published because I felt good about it. The posts I wanted to share.. Not content I believed others would like. “Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.”

**Be you.**

**Let steemit be steemit!**
