It is another week to express ourselves through songs, and the theme for this week is "Holy Spirit." In the church calendar, last Sunday was tagged "Pentecost Day." The word "Pentecost" is used to represent fifty days after the Ascension and also the day the disciples received the promise of their master, Jesus Christ, as he told them before he left that he would pray to the Father to send them a comforter, the Holy Spirit, who would guide them into all truth and show them things to come. The Holy Spirit is not of the Pentecostal denomination, nor is he of the Orthodox setting. For this week I will be doing a song by David Dam titled "Ebenezer." The Holy Spirit is my helper; when I get stuck in the middle of the road, he shows me the way to go, and the result is always perfect. When we engage the Holy Spirit in all we do, we will always be correct.One major thing that happened to the apostles after the Holy Ghost was released was that he gave them the boldness to preach the gospel. Imagine Peter, who could not stand after his master was arrested, gained the audacity to talk, and 3000 persons accepted the Gospel.
