<div class="text-justify"> It is the best time to take stock of how far we have gone in the year that will end in a few days. I love the way hive learners is going with her choice of topics at least this will help us adjust for the forthcoming year. ##### the picture is mine Life is filled with lots of lessons, every man on this planet earth has one thing or the other to learn daily. Though some lessons are learned the hard way while others are just learned to add up to good growth. Anyway, there is a lesson at the end. This year which is just ending had been a year of serious learning, there are decisions that I made that turned out to be a serious lessons to me and have helped me become a better person. ***One of the things I have learned is in the area of taking good care of my children's health*** Not to say am careless about the health of my children but I have learned to be more deliberate with their wellbeing. In one of my writings I made mention of how the whole family was sick during two last Christmas ๐ and that didn't go down well with me. So within the second quarter my son was seriously sick that disturbed me as I watched him looking so helpless. Well, it got to that because ignored the warning signal. People don't just get I'll there is always a signal and when it is ignored it can lead to the emergence. Over time I have wondered why sicknesses are always high at night, the sickness heightened at night that I couldn't sleep. For the first time, I called out to my landlord for help at night because of how he was acting. Not only that the temperature was so high, but he was also vomiting. Thankfully my landlord owns a chemist and I had some suspension so he gave it to my home that night. Immediately it was daybreak I made my way to the laboratory. The test showed that malaria was 2+ and typhoid was very high too. Hmm, this marveled me because it wasn't long after he was treated. That sleepless night taught me some lessons that I will never forget and I will be sharing them with you. * Always pay attention to warning signals in everything you do. Some signs will show forth and when it is neglected the dangers will not be averted * Go for a medical check-up before taking any medication. The first treatment was self-prescription and that didn't work so well for me. * Children's inability to express themselves should not be taken for granted it makes us pay more attention to them. Since then I have not had such a crisis because I have taken those lessons to heart and it has been like a guide to me, I go as far as to encourage other parents to do so too. This is a response to the hive learners week 42 edition 1 contest. Thank you for visiting my blog today. Hope you take care of yourself too. </div>
