@hivephilippines had an increase of delegations amounting to 2,260 HP within the past week.

##### Remember the guidelines in using the voting privileges:
1. HivePH member
2. Filipino, or half-Fil. 

Clarifying the stance that even non-Filipinos can get the votes as long as they have the member role. So if you're not a Filipino, just step into the server and try to make friends. The general chat is open to guests and if members have taken a liking to you, they cast votes for your membership. 

The decision to make one a member is already left to other members of the community and not up to the admins to play favorites. So even newcomers that are Filipinos need to go through that rite of passage to be accepted. 

Those that already have the role prior to this policy change can still get the guest role due to prolonged inactivity. 

Now the member role isn't just a label anymore because it comes with other benefits and more to come in the future. Anyone that wants to be part of the community needs to work their way into getting to know the community and have good public relations with other members. 

##### Functions: 

One way to maximize the benefits of supporting others is using the votes on other users other than your own posts. That's what the privilege enables and it's not all the time our curators would be available to scan fresh posts. If you as a member want to support another member, you can trigger the bot to give the vote. 

There's no obligation to use bot on others but it speaks a lot when I see members going out of their way to promote other people instead of just habitually triggering it on themselves. You bear no cost of your own resources from the act beyond a few clicks of your time. 

Curators have their own lives to run and having that system in place means enabling others to be in a position where they can use community stake to support others. 

Here's one way to by-pass the restrictions, have an existing friend on the server that is a member and then use your privilege to vote on others that have yet to attain the member role. Those friends of yours don't really need to work for their membership status right? This makes the whole initiation process obsolete right? 

Ako na mismo nag tuturo sa inyo ng loophole sa system na ginawa ko, bait ko no?

Well while that loophole exists, it doesn't prevent me to use my personal account / stake to counter the upvotes the community account is giving to users I don't approve. 

Matalino ang pinoy and iisip ng mga bagay para ma by-pass mga rules, kaya ako na mismo mag bibigay ng warning kung sino man ang aabuso sa system that was meant to benefit everyone. 

##### Reminders: 

We don't obligate anyone to delegate to use those free vote privileges but if you do delegate, you'll know exactly how that stake is being used to support the entire community and its projects. This is voluntary. 

A tier based rewards is being worked on where those that contribute more get more and this doesn't mean you're getting more votes. Other factors include community participation, so someone with little to no HP delegated can still earn the benefits of those that have stacked large amounts of delegation because they have been useful to the community in other ways. 

Thinking about votes you are going to get is a short and narrow mindset when you think about long term sustainability and growth. Isipin mo nalang yung stake mo nakakatulong sa ibang tao with financial benefits, confidence boost, grow existing projects that serve to help others, and onboard more users and give free delegations.
