As a sequel, <em>Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers</em> is better than <em>Full Spectrum Warrior</em>. Released two years after the first title; it has improved visuals; support for wide screen resolutions, and furthermore, has more responsive controls. 

This is about the end of the road though. Overall, it is a more "glamour" game than it is the simulation style title that the original was. 

Again, sound design lets this title down to an extreme level, and, again - it just isn't as much fun as a squad based, real time, tactical shooter could be. 

As an avid fan of XCOM (ignoring the fact XCOM is turn based) I should really enjoy a game like this; but for some reason, the mood, the setting; the controls... none of it ever really all clicks together. 

I said this would be a brief review if it was more of the same, and that's what it is. I don't have anything further to say that would add value beyond what I already said in my review of <em>Full Spectrum Warrior</em>.

History is sometimes unkind.
