Hello. For those of you who don't know, me I'm @holoz0r. I live in Adelaide, South Australia, and I am an ancient Steemian. I have contributed countless posts to the chain, met strangers from an obscure cryptocurrency blockchain, and shared many of my life's trials and tribulations over recent years.  One which many of you may remember is a little video I made over two years ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PDeQ99I4-o These two pieces of blue, thin metal have graced the front and rear of my car since that date. They managed to capture one Steemian in the wild, who attended one of our local, monthly meet ups. Since then - it hasn't done very much at all. It appears that the "social" part of networking doesn't work. I don't get any honks, (Rather, I honk at people who tend to fail to drive with any due care) - and people rarely ask about the symbology or significance of a licence plate - not even the service people who look after my car once a year to keep it running like new. Yet, if you see someone with a tattoo - there's always a story. A story they're happy to tell. You just need the courage to ask. No one asks, and I don't want to "tell" uninvited, or I'd be worse than the preachers who interrupted me writing this article by knocking at my door on a sunny Saturday morning. I feel like I am done with every bit of effort that I can possibly muster to further promote the Steem blockchain. I will continue to remain vested, but the only gain from these licence plates were some small administrative contribution to the State government's registration department. I will not be renewing these licence plates when my "licence" to them expires. I will instead have a general issue plate once more. These plates will stay on my car until approximately June 2021, but beyond that, they'll be lost, forgotten to the sands of time. I do not walk out and hate my car every time I see these plates, instead, it makes it uniquely mine - but so does a random smattering of alpha numeric characters. A pre-emptive funeral for "SA STEEMIT" will not be held, but I may make another video when I remove the plates in a year and a half.
