My keyboard is dying. How long have you had your keyboard? How many have you broken since starting on Steem?

How long have you had your keyboard for? Keyboards are seen to be rather durable pieces of equipment. Until they aren't. I love keyboards, almost as much as I love typing. I've thoroughly enjoyed my current keyboard, and it has enabled me to type of joys, sorrow, and tripe. I type a lot. Not only can this be seen from my consistent and persistent babbling here on Steem, but also something that is an integral part of my day job. I work from home, and though I have a dedicated work laptop, (connected to my two displays) - I don't use its built in keyboard - or its trackpad, I use external peripherals. I also really don't like having two keyboards on my desk - and I don't like KVMs either. So instead, I opted to buy a keyboard that has a removable cable. That way, I can have two cables (instead of two keyboards) on my desk. The bonus is, because the connector on the keyboard side is a USB Type-C connector, when one of the computers is not in use, I can use this as a charging port for my phone. Super nifty. Except, for the last few days, when I have been typing things, spaces haven't been appearing in the right places. Spaces have been whimsically disappearing, especially so when I use my right thumb as a space bar on the edge of the keyboard. The spring mechanism appears to be broken, and even after voiding the already expired warranty, adjusting the spring, and putting the whole thing back together (after a clean as well - if I stray too far from the centre of the space key... I don't get a space. For the purposes of me typing this article, it has worked just fine - which is... satisfying. I'll see how long it lasts - but I think in time, Steem will claim this keyboard. It wasn't cheap either. @holoz0r types on a Ducky One Mechanical Keyboard with Cherry Brown MX Switches. No fancy RGB LEDs live on this keyboard - its all class - except for the space bar. The sad state of affairs is that I'd probably have to write one hundred Steem posts about my keyboard to get enough of a SBD payout to afford a new keyboard. Instead, I'll wait a little bit longer, and buy another one closer to tax time as a deduction, as I do use this keyboard for work at least 80% of the time. What do you use to type your steem posts? Do you prefer mechanical / laptop / membrame keyboards? Do you type on a tablet, or a phone? Show me a picture of your keyboard in the comments! What keyboard should I buy? Detachable USB Type-C is a must. Don't won't RGB LEDs. Brown or Blue Switches. Happy to gamble with something off Ali-Express. Don't want anything with software to make my RAM dissapear. Keyboard is a keyboard. Suggestions! Discussion!
