is STEEM a failure?
Not yet... but honestly I am disappointed with the biggest advantage STEEM seemed to have, comparing to other blockchains and cryptos: *community*

# what should we do?
being part of a community takes responsibility, mutual respect, rational behaviour and more. right now I don't see much effort from many.

in the beginning I tried to communicate, engage and contribute with the community so much. but it seems many are just inspired by the incentives and the reward pool policies. I don't say they shouldn't, but there is more to do rather than just raping the reward pool ๐Ÿ˜’

# What did I do?
- I upvoted at least 3-5 posts of others everyday
- I upvoted every comment I received
- I wrote 2-3 posts every week
- I commented once a day at least, meaningful and engaging; not meaningless like *good post!*
- I encouraged the new comers
- I encouraged outsiders to join

# Do I still do these?
mostly not! I gave up... regretfully I couldn't keep on.

BUT,
I still believe STEEM has a potential to grow and make a significant difference in the blockchain era. let's see if the culture of STEEM community changes and forms in a better way. after all, the whole crypto thing is an infant.
