The Last Days at Forcados || Rewriting the End
<div  class=text-justify>

It's being a long time I wrote about a book I've read, so having the opportunity to so is really a great one for me.

I'll be rewriting the end of the story titled <div class="phishy">"Last Days at Forcados High School".</div>

![IMG-20220404-WA0002.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/hopestylist/23tHC2eJZLAMs4dmvjnATodoA5myBvEA8suPTZ6ZL8ESsKmBvnUsvKZWAdDeHLFgM8R1Z.jpg)

This book was written by ***A.H.Mohammed*** in the year ***2013***.
I read this book seven years ago. It was a school book met for those taking ***JAMB (Joint Admission And Matriculation Board)***, here in Nigeria.

## About the book

*The book was all About **Jimi Solade**, the protagonist. He's a student of a prestigious school called *Forcados high school*. He was a brilliant student and also participated in various activities of the school.*

*He lives with his parents, Mr and Mrs Solade. He has two siblings, Femi the eldest son and Wole his immediate elder brother whom he loves so much.*

*Wole was the bad egg of the family, he engaged in different criminal activities which made his father to hate him.*

*Despite wole's attitude, Jimi loved him more than his eldest brother, because he was always there for him. Their mother Mrs Solade loved them all and always tried her best to keep her family together.*

*At school Jimi was every girls crush but he only liked a girl called Caro. Jimi had two friends that were really close to him, Ansa and Nene.*

*A new girl was admitted to their school few weeks after resumption. Her name is *Efua Cooker*, she was beautiful, brilliant and also saucy.
She came to forcados because she was expelled from her school.*

*When Jimi saw her he got attracted to her and started to forget about his crush Caro but she wasn't attracted to him, infact she hated him because she felt he was too pompous.*

*Jimi's mother felt sick of **ovarian cancer**, so after some much treatment, she died. This situation was really hard for Jimi, he felt so lost and without anyone because his father travelled out of the country leaving him an his brother Wole, who is not always around.*

*But due to the death of his mother, he became close to Efua, they became friends.*

***Efua was a girl who stayed with her mother and her step father who abused her. In one occasion when she tried to defend herself from her stepfather with a knife, she hurt him very badly and her mother refused to believe her own side of the story and called her a demon-possessed liar and that she wants to ruin her marriage. This made her mother took her to stay with her Aunt and that's how she went to forcados high school where she met Nene who became her close friend.***

***At school, they also had a new corper, who Efua was fond of because of her activities. She became close with the corper, so at one point she wrote a letter to give to her but unfortunately for her, the letter got into a wrong hand and the person published it to the whole school.***

<center>***<div class="phishy">Efua and the corper were accused of having something together, it wasn't really easy for Efua because all her friends neither believe nor stood by her including Nene and Jimi.</div>***</center>

***This situation Made Efua and her friends to be on bad terms, but Nene realized her mistakes and went to plead and Efua forgave her.
Jimi was sorry but Efua was not ready to speak with him.***

## The End to Rewrite

*Jimi's brother, Wole framed him by lying to the police that his brother, Jimi was the Mastermind to the thievery him and his gang committed at jimi's school Chemistry laboratory. Jimi was called to the station and his brother pleaded with him to ***accept the charges*** to save his life and to **my greatest surprise**, Jimi accepted it because he loved his brother and he was the only family he has.*

*The principal of the school gave him some punishment and also told him to apologize to the whole school.*

*On the day he was to make the public apology, Efua came to school. When Jimi finished his apology, Efua indicated to say something.*

*When she was given the opportunity to do so, Jimi was scared because he thought she wanted to add salt to his injury but to his greatest surprise, she stood for him by accusing the principal, by asking him a question which read this, ***"How well do you know your students and how much do you really care for them?"***. After her speech the principal felt guilty and did everything possible to amend his ways.*

*After getting to know why Jimi accepted the accusations, he dropped all the charges, because he felt sorry for his actions.*
