Peter just finished renovating his new house and decided to do a housewarming session with his friends to share his joy with them. He ordered a mini buffet and some alcohol so that his friends will not leave with an empty stomach. 

The next weekend was the day of housewarming and his friends dropped by. All of them were wowed when they stepped into the house. The wall in the living room just stood out. It was made up of 4 panels of contrasting colours. 

John asked Peter, "Why did you choose this way of doing up the wall? It is very unique."

Peter replied, "It was because a blunder made by the new apprentice painter hired by the contractor. He didn't realize that while paints look identical in the outside, the contents weren't the same and did not check before buying from the shop. Hence he ended up with 4 different colours which weren't enough to paint the whole house. The interior designer then gave an idea of the 4 panels and that's how this wall become this way."
