So Snapchat knows about this work around, but doesn’t say how long they will allow it.  So hopefully it still works when you find this video.  

The process is pretty straight forward.  

Step 1: You'll have to delete the app
Step 2: turn off auto updates
Step 3: reinstall the app
Step 4: click forgot password
Step 5: reset your password 
Step 6: login.  

That will get you back to the old Snapchat before the latest update.

Don't force quit the app.  This will reinstall the update.
