There are four characteristics of bidah:

1. There is no definite document for the bidah to be known as bidah; But it is found to be banned from the basic 'mango' and general documents.
2. Bidahat is always in the opposite and opposing position of the Shari'a's aim, goal and Makayside. And this is the greatest proof of being inferior and rejected. That is why the tradition of bidah has been called bidat.
3. In most cases, the act of conduct is by performing the functions which were not present in the era of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions. Imam Ibn al-Jauzi said: 'Bid'ah meant that which was not a work, but it was invented'.
4. There is some similarity with some of the Shi'i prayers. These matches can be seen in both the cases:

Firstly, there is a similarity to the document that the bidat is practiced on the basis of any 'document or skepticism or concept, and it is considered to be a valid document or a document of doubt or suspicion, or a conjecture with respect to it.

Secondly: In accordance with the framework and method of worship made by the Shari'ah, maturity is made according to numbers, shapes, times or places, and from the direction of command.
