###### March 14th, 74th day of 2020. Another day for Prompt A Day challenge by @shadowspub. 

It's mid-March, and I need to step up in coming up with more posts daily. When the year started, everyone was looking forward to a better year and the beginning of a wonderful new decade. Who would have thought that the Steem blockchain would encounter #Steemhostiletakeover? Who would have thought the world would be battling #coronavirusoutbreak? The future is truly uncertain. Much as others would grab a popcorn or two to watch events unfold, I think I would settle for my favorite candy (or candies, for that matter, in this post).

## Today's **Journal / Blogging Prompt**: *What’s Your Favorite Candy?*

I have a few favorites. Although I'm not always eating candies, I have turned to some of them when the mood or occasion called for it. Take for example the cover photo, it represents chocolate candies. They're colorful and quite easy to purchase. They also have a few varieties.

I believe Nips is a local brand. I've been enjoying it as a kid. I'm happy to see them coming up with new variations.

Haw flakes! These will always be my favorite. I try not to buy too often as I could eat up a lot in one sitting. 😂😂 It's made from fruit but sweetened.

Skittles are my daughter's favorite. She introduced them to me. Munching on some of these has become part of our bonding moment.

Nerds! I can't recall when we bought this one. I'm sure it was more than a pack. We were probably looking to satisfy our sweet tooth then.

Mentos mint candies are handy to have around in your bag. They have yummy flavors too. 

Watch your sugar intake. Go easy on the candies. 😉👍
