Hey guys I recently found Waves because it has just been on a tear. Consolidation -> Big leg up -> Another consolidation -> Another big leg up...  From a technical chart perspective, it is looking like one of the strongest charts out there.  Not comparing this with STRAT completely since the market cap on STRAT was really small at first, but the chart pattern is looking quite similar...

These comparisons are not completely equal obviously due to market cap, but serve as a guideline to the direction/trend as opposed to the exact percent increases.

Simple Fundamental analysis: The need for a decentralized exchange is very high.  Exchanges such as Poloniex has a very unfair advantage as they pick which coins get listed on their exchange which obviously gets pumped.  Even outside of the crypto world, Brokerages sell order flow to HFT firms that give them the competitive advantage over others.  Decentralized exchange will balance the playing field for everyone.  Here's some speculation to go with it... NEM coin is one of the most popular coins in Japan.  It was already making a strong run before the crypto craze happened in Japan, but once it hit Japan and all the volume came in... NEM made an insane run up!  Waves is one of the most well known cryptos in Russia and hopefully can follow the hype NEM received when Russia really gets involved in crypto.
