Aptos airdrop shaked the whole crypto ecosystem as the team distributed nice amount of money via airdrop. After the airdrop by Aptos, crypto enthusiasts started the hunt for another project that is likely to distributed thousands of dollars like Aptos did.

If we consider some parameters in the situation of crypto ecosystem, then we may have better ideas over the upcoming possibility of an airdrop from other projects.

### Aptos Set the Treshold High!
Imagine you were planning to start the mainnet and airdrop some coins to your community members who contributed to your project in testnet and marketing. When Aptos did this **over-hyped** airdrop and distributed thousands of dollars in top-tier exchanges, you really lose the chance to go viral because of the hype on Aptos.

[Sui Network](https://twitter.com/SuiNetwork/status/1583529939331993602) is the other cryptocurrency that is expected by crypto investors to skyrocket like Aptos did. However, if we assume that Sui airdrops crypto to community and it distributes $800 to each community members, it will have no impact on it in the eyes of people.

When the threshold is so high, **it is not logical to waste your bullet** that is already a source of narrative for your project even without any single product! Basically, the projects re-design their strategies in terms of airdrop as they should.

### Title of Aptos: Star of Bear Market 
We never talk about the second best things.

If **Sui** or any other project cannot distribute thousands of dollars in the bear market (by outperforming Aptos), then they are not likely to waste their resources while they are already under the radar of many people 😉

Strategically, a project needs to be the start of the bear market with its debut. As of writing, it is by far Aptos thanks to the VCs, Community and the team behind. [Hype on Aptos](https://leofinance.io/@idiosyncratic1/movevm-or-hype-on-upcoming-aptos-project) has always been breathtaking!

As far as what we see, no other projects can outperform Aptos with their airdrop or mainnet in the short term. Thus, no need to be the second guy who will be forgotten in the deep bear ✌🏼

### Bull, Volume and Launch 🎬
All these projects will airdrop something because they no longer have another option when people knock their door every single second asking for an airdrop. It can be symbolic airdrop or a real one but, eventually, people will get what they want from them.

I see many tweets on my timeline saying that this is the list of projects which are going to distribute thousands of dollars in airdrop... I do not expect another crypto project to airdrop a huge chunk of tokens for the short term **IF it cannot outperform Aptos**. To be honest, I do not see the potential in the majority of them if we exclude Ethereum L2 projects upcoming.
