It's the new week, whew!

The weather for these past few days had been cold and wet which makes me miss the sun even more. Unfortunately, it had not gotten a chance to take a peek even for a while. Most of you who read me may have already known that I love the sunny weather more although I appreciate the rain and coolness it gives in the air and the nutrients it provides to the soil and plants too.

And so today, whilst the rain is doing its own thing outside the house, I decided to do something that helps lift up myself to a more sunny disposition. Not much of a work really, but it's one of the things that is fun to do in times like this. That is by visiting photos and finding things and memories that make the soul warm and yes, glow!

This was one from a really sunny at quarter to 10 in one morning. Taken at a vicinity of the university down the valley. Just a look of it reminded me of the day when the husband decided to take me out for a quick lunch date. A fun day that was.

And below was from the backyard garden of a pole bean blooming, co-existing with a cherry tomato. Aah... the joy of seeing one's plants grow and thrive alongside each other. Why not people do the same noh?

And some buds and blooms of a Chinese Lantern Tree or the so-called Abutilon Megapotamicum with some shadows too. This photo specifically reminded me of the time when we enjoyed an afternoon at a school grounds, like we were school youngsters, snapping this and that.

And this was a capture of the sky above our yard during one sunny day. This definitely made me feel some warm breeze!

And finally, a sunset that always make me feel restful, hopeful and blissful. Reminds me that there is so much more to life than moaning about the weather (or anything else) and that we must always, always be grateful...
