Onion prices have reached normal levels: Tofail Ahmed
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said. The price of the local market has reduced to the normal level.

 
Today on Monday, a member of the lawmaker. Responding to Abdullah's written question, he said, onion prices have come down due to various initiatives and the production of new onions in the country.
He said the government has taken various steps including increasing government surveillance in the marketing system including importing of imports from India, Myanmar, Egypt and Turkey to stabilize the price of the fluctuations.
The minister said the government has given directions on the behalf of the onion importers and the representatives of different wholesale markets of Dhaka and the commerce ministry meeting with the general secretaries. BSS
