I groan in pain, wishing I could scream out
I wish I had someone so dear to talk to
I have been the listener
The adviser
The shoulder to lean on

Here I am,
Bottling up my affairs,
Unable to muster the courage to call my foe.
I do have someone I love
Someone I long to talk to.
However, she just seems too busy and far away.

The thorn in my heart,
I fear death in the middle of the night
Who shall I seek help from?
How do I cry out when I can't bear it anymore?
Why can't I have a shoulder to lean on?
Why can't I share my pain with another?

She promised me a shoulder,
Yet, I find no comfort.
I'm all here on my own, taking my own shit!
When the sun rises,
I shall plant a beautiful smile.
Just like nothing happened,
I shall be the listening ear you all want again.
