Getting more users to join steemit.
It is strange to me that is even a topic. Think about how addictive social media inherently is. I know that from the time I started using Steemit I saw the same potential I do after the proposed changes to the economy. If I hadn't I probably would not have kept making posts here. No I definitely would not have. Getting mass amounts of people to join Steemit. Converting the skeptics of the money you are spending from blogging, the "too good to be true crowd". This is achieved by one thing. Hype. Sadly in the end it creates more skeptics. First. The marketcap of Steem shoots to the moon. Second everyone makes lots of $$$. Third. We spend it. Fourth more hype more users more money spent. As hype and investment outpace the user growth. We prepare for the other side of the mountain. Now the price crashes back to a real valuation fast. Some users leave naysayers and skeptics increase. The economic aspect of Steemit will create as much despair as hope and greed as opportunity. Changes will be made when improvements are thought needed. This cycle is not something we need to break out of but simply inform people of. The change in signup to allow you to not need a Facebook or Reddit account was a great one. If you want to see more people here there is nothing better than free advertising. It does not cost money to sign up for Steemit. Instead of telling people buy Steem tell them hey join Steemit and follow me its free.
