Hey guys! If you think I missed you're favorite website, let me know in the comments! Thanks. # Introduction https://media.giphy.com/media/3o6ZsX2OZJ8G3Tec6Y/giphy.gif The internet is a magical place. It is a place where dreams come true, it is where they are shattered. It is where you make friends, it is where you make foes. It is where you learn new things! Exciting, isn't it? There are seemingly uncountable number of websites on the internet and that number is increasing day by day. Some are groundbreaking and innovative like the one you are on right now, while some are just plain silly. In this post, I'll post some of my favorite websites that you all should bookmark. # 6. [Duolingo](https://www.duolingo.com) https://www.duolingo.com/images/illustrations/owl-happy@2x.png Many of you have probably heard of this amazing site. For those who haven't, I'll explain. Have you ever wanted to learn a new language but didn't want to pay for it? Well, now you can do that for free thanks to Duolingo! There are many languages that are available for learning there including French, Dutch, Spanish et cetera. I've been waiting for them to add Latin to their catalog but in the meanwhile I've learned Dutch! Though, it's still very rusty and I can't pronounce half the words haha. You should seriously give this site a try if you want to learn a new language. # 5. [Codecademy](https://www.codecademy.com/) https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/499697083398381568/ih2vOpDt.png Ah! Codecademy! This is one of my favorite websites as it teaches something that everyone should have atleast basic knowledge of. Thats right, coding! This amazing website offers courses in Python, Java, PHP, SQL, HTML and CSS among others. I learned HTML and CSS from here and am in the process of learning Python. It's an incredibly educational website which you should take a look at if you're interested in coding. # 4. [Weavesilk](weavesilk.com/) Okay so, this one is purely for killing time. You can have quite a bit of fun with it if you like symmetrical art designs and are very creative. You can some pretty sick designs on it too. Its pretty good and you can kill lots of time with it. # 3. [What should I read next?](http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com/) If you're an avid reader (like me), then you would have found yourself searching for what to read next occasionally. Well, this site helps you do exactly that. If you like Stephen King, you just enter his name and you'll get some of his best works shown below. It's incredibly helpful and satisfies you're reading thirst. You can create your account to make a list of books that you plan on reading. That really seals that deal. # 2. [KhanAcademy](https://www.khanacademy.org/) https://cdn.kastatic.org/images/khan-logo-vertical-transparent.png Oh man, this website. You can learn pretty much every subject there is on this website including math, chemistry, history and much more. It's an incredibly educational website that provides collegiate-level education on almost every subject. It even assesses your progress to see what you have learned along the way. It has tutorials on programming too! When I was learning HTML at Codecademy, I ran into a problem for which they had provided no solution. I was ripping my hair out when somebody mentioned that I try KhanAcademy. Their video tutorials were amazingly in-depth and provided a simple yet genius solution to my problem. I always recommend viewing their video tutorials for their depth as it answers every question that you may have. ### And last but not the least.... # 1. [Steemit](https://steemit.com/) https://media.licdn.com/mpr/mpr/shrink_200_200/AAEAAQAAAAAAAAi-AAAAJGZkYzE5Y2QxLTk4ZjYtNGZhMy1iZTFhLWY3NTQ2ODBjYWQyNg.png Yes, Steemit! You probably have it bookmarked and set as your homepage but if you haven't, do it. Like, right now. I think the big plus about this website is the community. That's right, it's you. My time here has been exceptional. I've seen almost zero trolls and have only seen incredible people! That includes content creators, bloggers and the people who just want to improve this whole community. Yeah okay but what is Steemit? Steemit is a social media platform where you get rewarded for curating, posting and creating content. It brings out the best in people, really. I mean, you can do the thing you love while getting rewarded for it by your fans. Thats got to be the best feeling in the world. You can pay the bills and do what you love. > Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. That's what steemit is. With this community, anything is possible. # An Ending Note Sooo yeah those were my favorite websites. If you don't have them bookmarked, please do so. Let me know your favorite websites in the comments below and as always, thanks for reading. https://img0.steemit.com/0x0/https://67.media.tumblr.com/b67e87b3d7f4a9d240b592d6f896df87/tumblr_oagxv5n0sc1ra7t1zo1_400.gif
