Electricity is one of the wonderful wonders of science, and it's the thing that brought revolutionary change with time. We are living in the advanced world, and we have advanced technology that has made our lives easier and more comfortable, but all of those technological devices and advanced technology need power and electricity, the source of the power. If there is no electricity, then advanced technology is useless.

That's the reason why in the digital world, thinking about life without electricity is hard to imagine. The supply of electricity is different based on countries and locations. There is no shortage of wealth for rich countries, and it's very easy to generate enough electricity to meet the demand. But every country is not well, and so the situation is not the same in every country. I heard there are some countries where the electricity supply is very little and impossible to fulfill the demand. 

I am living in a developing country. The economic condition of my country is not so significant to mention. Additionally, after the pandemic situation, our country is facing an economic crisis, and it's a very common thing in a country like mine. I can remember that when I was a child, the situation of electricity was very bad. In rare cases, the electricity used to arrive, and load shedding was a very common and expected thing for us. During the nighttime, we needed to use a lamp of oil or torchlight. We had the arrangement of a power bank to charge our electronic gadgets. 

With time, the situation became better, and the supply of electricity has been increased significantly, and it was enough to meet the demand of people in my country. We almost forgot about the load shedding, and we stopped using torchlight, candles, power banks, etc., as there is no shortage of electricity. 


Because of bad economic conditions after the pandemic, some of the power stations were forced to shut down for lack of fuel. Facing such a situation all of a sudden was a terrible experience for all of us. Moreover, in that year, the temperature broke the past record. What is the current situation of my country? Are you curious to know? In that case, I am dividing the time between the summer season and the winter season. 


During the time of the winter season, we don't need to use an air conditioner or fan. Without those, the conception of electricity naturally reduces. So in the time of the winter season, the demand for electricity is low compared to the summer season, and at that time, it's rare to face a shortage of electricity. Last winter was load-shedding-free except for some exceptions. 

The winter season ended recently, and it's here to reach the peak of the summer season. Last year, in the summer season, we faced extreme load-shedding because of a shortage of electricity. My country suffered a lot for it, as electricity is related to the production of the country. Although it's not the peak of the summer season, I can guess what is going to happen based on the current situation and the record of last year. 

Load shedding is occurring recently, but it's for a short time. As it's not the peak time, it just indicates that in the upcoming days the situation will be worse because the demand for electricity will be increased. In that case, I am mentally prepared for extreme load shedding this year, but I am optimistic that it will not be as bad as last year, and the economic situation is trying to recover after the change of government. 

The demand for electricity has been increasing with time because with time the use of advanced technology is increasing, and it requires more power, so we need more electricity compared to the past. I just hope that this year, in the summer season, there will be no load shedding, but I think it will be hard to make it a reality. 

I think finance is the way to solve the power issue, but if people can afford solar panels, the problem can be solved easily, which is also related to finance. So, without solving the economic issues of my country, I don't think there are any long-term solutions to it.
