Come let's fill in our tummy !!!  > **What is POCHERO?** Pochero is is a Filipino dish we inherit from the Spaniards during its colonization. A dish composed of beef shanks stew with saba bananas. It also has some corn or vegetable like potatoes, cabbage, chickpeas, or even tomato sauce that will add ups its flavor. It is common to the spanished influenced countries like the Philippines. A lot of versions of pochero will be seen in different kitchens, they replace the mean meat Beff with chicken, pork, and goat. The best time to eat pochero is during cold weather or rainy season,the soup of pochero will relieve the coldness of the weather. *The word pochero itself means a stew pot in Spanish term.* ___  Yesterday our Project Manager invited us for lunch out in one restaurant in Cebu City that offers the best pochero in town. A place where native Cebuanos know where to find it and become an on-the-go restaurant when they crave pochero. *If you are a cebuano or living in Cebu City, Did you know about this place?*  **Ekit's Foodhaus** the name of the place we are talking about is where you can find a fine dish of pochero in the town of Cebu. A famous local restaurant in the city that gives you a lust of coming back to try again their pochero.  This Ekit's Foodhaus had been featured already in Manila Bulletin a national Newspaper magazine in the Philippines last August 30, 2012, because of their delightful pochero. This means it is not only known in Cebu City but also over the country. ___ > **Ekit's Pochero**  **Ekit's pochero** is made of beef shanks with corn cob, ginger, onion, bamboo shoots, and peppercorns that are combined together and produced a warm flavourful broth that you will never forget. You can add up chili,calamansi, and soy sauce if you prefer a little bet sour spicy taste of your pochero which I really like. The soup seems to have been boiled for 12 to 24 hours. I love how tender the meat and of course the slushy bone marrow gives you second thoughts to eat it but knowing your pochero experience will not satisfying without scooping it. You will experience Ekits delightful pochero in just 3 dollars only per one serving. ___   This place is simple, and not too cozy like other restaurants in the area. you will never expect that this is a restaurant just looking outside of this place. It is covered with a high wall on the perimeter and it's just like an ordinary house. It is not easy to find, the road is narrow but if you ask people nearby the restaurant, they will tell you the way. ___   If you want another viand's aside from pochero, you don't have to worry, Ekit's also has another menu on the plate like grilled fish, pork, vegetable, and others, that will delight your meal.This place is recommendable and maybe I will be back here with my other friends.
