This is a shot from a remote part of the Desert of Siloli high in the Bolivian Altiplano. It is part of the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve of Sur Lípez Province in Bolivia. The desert here sits at an altitude of around 4575m (or 15,010 ft).

I had this shot published by Lonely Planet in their book "Toilets: A Spotter's Guide", both on the cover and as a full page inside the book. You really feel like you have made it as a photographer when you get on the cover of a book about Toilets !

If you would like to learn a little bit more about my background in photography you can read the interview @photofeed did with me [here](https://steemit.com/photofeed/@photofeed/introducing-photofeed-profiles-an-interview-with-intrepidphotos)
