“You have a story to share.” The annoying voice of inuke returned.
“Not really. I am still charging.” I replied.
“Oh!! I see.” 

We were staring at the blank screen of Libre Writer for almost 5 minutes. The only noise in the room was from the ceiling fan and the traffic from far off. 

“I know I had a bad day, what's with you?” I asked inuke knowing all too well that he probably had some stupid reason behind it. 
“Nothing.”
“Cool. !!!” I had nothing else to add. I asked the question out of politeness. 

Again, the only sound was of the ceiling fan. We were sitting there staring at the screen with nothing to write. 
“You tried writing something today?” Inuke asked. 
“I did. I read ‘The blind date’ again. And don't know what to write next. So I left it there.” I answered. 

“Arey yaar!!! You completed 6years on Hive last month. You know what that means?” Inuke asked. 
“It means that you have been writing for 6 years.” inukes tone changed a little. 
“No!! I have an account on Hive for 6 Years. That’s what it means.” I corrected inuke assumption. “I haven't written anything good in almost a year.”

“Well, you were busy, sick and troubled then.” Inuke tried to justify my actions in past. 
“Yo!! I am busy, sick and troubled now too. And what's with the sympathetic tone? You were the one jumping around with stories up there.” I pointed out the odd behaviour of inuke. Not used to getting a positive response from him. 
“So you don’t want to write?” Inuke asked. 
“Is that what's bothering you? Dude, I will write when time permits and when I can get the story going. You don't have to worry about me. And frankly speaking, I am a little disappointed with you. You only pointed out no!!!.. I have been a writer for 6 years, of all those year Just count how many are a half-assed attempt at writing and how many I have given my 100%. The creative process takes time. I hope you understand that. Just because its so and so date and it has been so many years, don't expect that through some magic the story will appear. You got my point.” I lashed out at inuke. 
“Understand the difference between Hobby and passion. My friend.” I replied to inuke. I felt bad after being so harsh to inuke, I mean that dude just wanted to help and here I am justifying my situation. My reply was uncalled for. 
Before I could apologise to inuke for my word. I heard him utter something.
“What is that?” I cancelled my apology, If this guy wants to fight I am ready. ‘Let's take the discussion there.’ I said to myself.

“I understand. But do you? Do you have the understanding if writing is your passion or hobby?” inuke answered my previous question.

His question took me by surprise. 
I haven’t really thought about this if writing is my passion or hobby. It's kind of my passion, but I am treating it as a hobby. Or it is the other way around. I am not sure. 

“Remember, your answer will define you!!!” Inuke warned me.
I wanted to reply with the ‘It is complicated.’ generic response. But after 6 years. I think both of us deserve some clarity.
